I usually don't have a sweet tooth. In fact, I'd rather order another starter at a restaurant, than a dessert.
But as just said: usually.
When it hits me, I dig into a pack of m&m's peanut or some oreos. These are my favorite. It's not healthy, but who cares, if you eat it from time to time.
Here I have an awesome alternative: Chocolote Banana Hummus. It's difficult to imagine that this can be good, but it's freakin' delicious. And you won't even notice that its made of chickpeas.
Ingredients:
- 1 can of chickpeas rinsed (400g)
- 1 banana
- 2 tbsp cocoa powder
- 100ml rice milk (alternative: regular milk, coconut milk, almond milk)
- 1-2 tbsp of maple sirup (alternative: honey)
How to do it:
- throw all ingredients into a blender
- hit the power button
- done
- How simple was that, please?
Possible Alternatives:
- milk: regular milk, coconut milk, almond milk
- sweetness: honey
- flavors: vanilla, cinnamon
- crunch: almonds or nuts in general, crackers
